Camp Offerings

AMS summer music camps, ages 4-18, include: Rock Camps, Harry Potter-themed Suzuki Strings Camps, a new Video Game Music Camp, Ukulele Camp, Jazz Camp, Music Explorations, Song Circle Voice Camp, Appalachian Music Camp, Open Jam Camp, and more. 

Summer music camps at Asheville Music School are a great way to begin your musical journey, enhance your skills, or even try a new instrument. Students will learn music in a fun, supportive, team-oriented environment in small or large groups. All camps include time outdoors, weather permitting. Camps run Mon-Fri, half day (9am-12pm or 1pm-4pm) or full day (9am-4pm).

Payment Policy

  • 50% deposits are due one month prior to the start of camp.
  • Full payments are due no later than 2 weeks prior to start of camp. Failure to pay camp tuition may result in losing your spot. 
  • You may request a refund prior to May 30. Requests for future camp credit will be given up to 2 weeks prior to the start of each camp (100% credit toward a camp this year or 80% toward next year).
  • Max refund is 97% (AMS keeps the final 3% to cover processing fees)
  • Payments can be made online or via check to 10 Ridgelawn Rd., Asheville, NC 28806 and include student name and camp name.
