Lessons with Delia
A lesson with Delia would be designed specifically to fit the needs and goals of the student. Delia is a highly qualified traditional flute instructor as well as Suzuki flute instructor (she had some training with Toshiro Takehashi, the founder of Suzuki Flute method, among other teachers). Additionally, she has the ability to teach many other styles, including rock, pop, blues, reggae, etc. The development of a healthy and sustainable posture, good tone development and technique, and an understanding of basic music theory are taught to all of her students. Delia is able to cater to the educational needs of college bound-musicians as well as beginners, adults as well as children from age 5 and up. Delia’s methods are designed to help each student find and reach their goals as flutists. (Note: For the very young Suzuki student, an adult participant would be required to attend lessons).
